Good management and young talent is the reason why the Aguilas Cibaenas have maintained their lead in the first third of the Dominican Winter Professional Baseball Championship, Listin Diario reports.
Leading emerging talents such as Emmanuel and Alberto Rodriguez, Adael Amador and Angel Genao, among others have the Aguilas at the top of the Lidom 2025-26 championship.
As of Sunday, 16 November 2025, the Aguilas lead, followed closely by the Estrellas Orientales, Toros del Este, Leones del Escogido Tigres del Licey and Gigantes del Cibao. Nothing is decided yet.
Team manager Luis “Pipe” Urueta gets much of the credit.
