The first nine holes of the Las Iguanas Golf Course in Cap Cana are open for play. An inaugural tournament was held in October 2025.
The golf course is in Cap Cana the same expansive residential and tourism development as the 18-hole Punta Espada Golf Course. Both are designed by the golf course design company of legendary golfer, Jack Nicklaus.
Las Iguanas Golf Course is the newest addition to playing golf in Punta Cana. It is designed to feature 18 holes showcasing inspiring views, ten sculpted lakes, strategic bluff, and features the exceptional cliff-edge holes 12-14 located where the Caribbean Sea meets the fairways.
Las Iguanas’ sister course, the closeby Punta Espada Golf Course since 2006 delivers an 18-hole waterfront experience described as a course that plays as good as it looks and is regarded as a bucket-list course.
