In Decree 84-26, President Luis Abinader appointed Geraldo Espinosa Pérez as the new Comptroller General of the Republic. Espinosa Pérez, a seasoned accountant with over 24 years of experience in the public sector. Previously he had served as Sub-Comptroller.
He succeeds Félix Antonio Santana García in a move described by the Presidency as a step toward enhancing the transparency and efficiency of state financial controls.
