Head of Dubai-based ports giant quits after Epstein links revealed

In February 2026, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the longtime Chairman and CEO of DP World, was removed from his leadership positions following the release of thousands of unredacted documents from the US Department of Justice. DP World is majority shareholder and owner of the Caucedo Port in Santo Domingo and operates the Punta Cana Logistics Center in Punta Cana.
