The major snowstorm impacting the northeastern coast of the United States has resulted in cancellations of flights impacting travel plans of thousands. The storm has resulted in thousands of no shows for accommodations.
On the positive side for many, the snowstorm has also forcibly extended the stays of thousands of visitors who were caught in the Dominican Republic and were impeded to take their flights back as originally scheduled.
