
The Dominican Republic Association of Shippers (ANRD) has strengthened its leadership ranks with the appointment of Sheilly Núñez Guerrero as Executive Vice President. Previously, she was legal advisor at the Dominican Port Authority (Apordom).
With a track record of regulatory expertise, Núñez Guerrero steps into the role at a pivotal moment as the nation seeks to modernize its port infrastructure and logistics capabilities.
A native of Santo Domingo, Núñez Guerrero’s career has been defined by a series of high-level academic achievements. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with honors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), where she also completed postgraduate studies in Corporate and Business Law.
Her expertise extends into the geopolitical arena; she earned the title of International Relations Analyst from the Eduardo Latorre Diplomatic and Consular School (now INESDYC). Notably, she graduated with the highest honors in the “Pedro Fernández Peix” class, signaling an early aptitude for navigating complex international frameworks.
