Uepa to sell tickets to 25th Central American and Caribbean Games competitions

The Organizing Committee for the Santo Domingo 2026 XXV Central American and Caribbean Games has officially designated Uepa Tickets as the exclusive distributor for event ticketing. The collaboration aims to provide a streamlined, high-tech purchasing experience for both local and international fans attending the multi-sport regional event.

Uepa Tickets is the leading vendor of online tickets to events in the Dominican Republic.

The agreement was formalized by José P. Monegro, president of the Organizing Committee, and Fernando Queipo, president of Uepa Tickets. Under the terms of the partnership, the ticketing system will prioritize “accessible pricing” and leverage an extensive network of physical distribution points across the Dominican Republic, alongside a robust digital platform.

The organizing committee of the 25th Games explained that Uepa Tickets will deploy a next-generation platform specifically tailored to the diverse logistics of the Games. This system is designed to categorize ticket sales by sporting discipline, allowing fans to navigate schedules and venues with ease.

“We want Santo Domingo 2026 to be an elite experience starting from the moment of purchase,” stated Fernando Queipo. “We will utilize cutting-edge technology to offer an intuitive system that is easy for everyone to understand.”

Security and accessibility
Organizing Committee president José P. Monegro emphasized the company’s proven track record in handling large-scale events as a primary reason for the selection. He assured the public that the infrastructure would guarantee secure transactions for all attendees.

Gabriel Alma, general manager of Uepa Tickets, noted that the dedicated web portal will feature a user-centric interface specifically optimized for the high traffic expected during the regional competition.

The signing ceremony also featured Mercedes Canalda, a member of the Santo Domingo 2026 Executive Committee. Official Games mascot, Colí, looked on as the signing of the agreement was formalized.
