UNIBE student murder update

Diario Libre reports that charges are being filed against the two men accused of raping and murdering Bulgarian-American Emilia Gradeztka, a medical student at Universidad Iberoamericana, last Saturday. Yesterday in Neyba, the police arrested Carlos William Montero Geronimo, a co-worker of Nilson Lemos Jaquez, who has admitted taking part in the crime. The 28-year-old student was murdered with a 15-inch blade in her apartment on Roberto Pastoriza Avenue in the Evaristo Morales area of Santo Domingo. Immediately after the crime, Montero Geronimo escaped to Neyba, where he was tracked down by police in the Las Palmas area. Lemos Jaquez said it was Montero Geronimo who had stabbed the victim and used surgical gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints behind.
