The National Theater presents the Christmas classic, Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite on the December weekend of Thursday, 14 December, through Sunday, 17 December.
The ballet is choreography by Carlos Veitia. Jennifer Ulloa of the Uruguay Ballet and Narciso Medina of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba will be performing. Lead roles are by National Classic Ballet dancers Maykel Acosta, Maria Valeria and Marcos Rodríguez. Scenography is by Fidel Lopez, lighting by Bienvenido Miranda. The National Classic Ballet is directed by Armando González.
The ballet will be performed at 8:30pm on Thursday to Saturday and on 5pm on Sunday. Tickets are available at the National Theater box office and go for RD$500, RD$800, RD$1,000, RD$1,500.
