
President Danilo Medina toured the Downtown Center Punta Cana last week. The plaza has been in operation for around four years in an area of 27,000 square meters at the cross section of the Punta Cana Tourism Boulevard with Bávaro. Miguel Ricart, general director of the entertainment and shopping center, says it was built at an investment of US$25 million.
Located in the area is a Jumbo megastore, a Sunix gas station, CocoBongo and GuaGuanco discotheques, Rad Park for inland surfing, many restaurants including Lorenzillos of Mexico, La Casita de Yeya for Dominican food, a business center, among other establishments.
