Supermarket to maintain prices

Supermercado Bravo will keep its prices at the same level until the end of January, and will absorb any increases caused by the application of the tax reform, according to El Caribe. The supermarket’s president, Rafael Monestina explained that they are negotiating with suppliers so that when the increase is applied in February, and that the impact be minimal. Bravo has three branches in Santo Domingo, located on Winston Churchill Ave., in San Isidro and on San Vicente de Paul Ave. They have plans to open two new stores later this year, which will be located in Los Cacicazgos and on Luperon Avenue.
