The District Attorney’s office for the National District, working in collaboration with Verizon, has opened a domestic violence “Life Line” that will allow victims of domestic violence to call for help. The number is 1-809-200-1202. District Attorney Jose Manuel Hernandez told reporters that calls will be taken from 8 am until midnight. The new service will permit members of the Justice Department to go to the aid of domestic violence victims and these will be accompanied by professionals in the area of human psychology. Of course, all calls are strictly confidential.
