The Customs Agency (DGA) has confiscated a cargo of ten million cigarettes at the port of Haina Oriental after these arrived from Panama on board the ship, the Gluecksburg. The 969 boxes of cigarettes with 10,000 cigarettes in each one were discovered in a freight container that supposedly held clothes for a company based in Santo Domingo called Feeding Corp. A few days earlier a cargo of 10.8 million cigarettes were confiscated in Puerto Plata on the same boat and from the same origin.
