Katrina Naut was appointed new Dominican representative to the organizations of the United Nations organizations in Geneva, Switzrland. These are: World Trade Organization (WTO), World Intelectual Property Organization (WIPO), International Telecommunications Union, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), International Labour Organization (ILO), Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
The same decree appointed medical doctor Humberto Salazar as Dominican ambassador to South Korea.
