Dominican Navy seizes semi-submersible in San Pedro

Members of the Armada of the Dominican Republic (ARD) seized what they are describing as a semi-submersible boat in southeastern San Pedro de Macoris. The Armada is investigating to ascertain the nature of the vehicle and who the owner is. The structure is 82.5 feet long and 6.5 feet wide and 6.7 feet tall.

The ARD says that the clandestine semi-submersible was found in a shipyard, located in the Villa España sector on the old highway to the town of Quisqueya. Intelligence services pertaining to the Armada are investigating the owners of the grounds where the ship was found.
