The National Metereological Office (Onamet) is forecasting plenty of rain nationwide through Wednesday, 17 October 2018. A trough has combined with a passing tropical wave to bring all the rain.
Lows in the morning will be around 21-22C in Greater Santo Domingo, making for very agreeable weather in the early morning. The exceptions are Montecristi and Puerto Plata on the north coast, and La Romana in the east.
