The National Office for Industrial Property (Onapi) announced that commercial name certificates are being issued in a single day, as compared to five days in the past. She said requests can be made at 8am and the next day by 8am, the certificate for the name will be issued or rejected. The transactions can be carried out online. Michele Guzman of Onapi said that the fast tracking of the certificates occurred after President Danilo Medina issued Decree 260-18.
