The Estrellas Orientales are alone in the first place of the Dominican Professional Winter Baseball Championship with 16 games won and 13 losses. Weekend games put the Leones del Escogido in third place with record of 15-14; the Gigantes in third place with 14-14, The Tigres del Licey and the Aguilas Cibaeñas are tied for the fourth place with 14 wins and 15 losses. The Toros del Este, are close by with a record of 13-15. The regular season is now at half mark.
