
Luis Ernesto Camilo, director of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC) announced the country will be signing eight new bilateral aviation agreements before the end of the year. He said agreements would be signed with Kenya, in Africa; Jamaica and Bahamas in the Caribbean region; the United Kingdom, North Ireland, Netherlands in Europe, South Korea and Jordania. He said he would visit these countries with Alejandro Herrera, director of the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC).
