Santo Domingo judges, heard the final hearing in the case against, Víctor Alexander Portorreal “Chaman Chacra”, accused of killing his wife, aged 32 and her three children, aged 6, 11 and 13, in the Enriquillo neighbourhood on the Sanchez Highway.
The bodies were found in a state of decomposition and his wife had been stabbed as well as the two older children and the youngest child had been strangled.
During the hearing two close friends of Chacra told the judges of the Primer Tribunal Colegiado del Distrito Nacional that Portorreal had confessed to them via Whatsapp what he had done and said he would commit suicide, which he eventually did not do.
