The Passport Agency announced it now has opened a Citizen Attention Center at the Punto GOB of the government located at the Sambill Mall on Av. John F. Kennedy. The new center will enable citizens to issue and renew their passports. Previously, the only center where this could be carried out was at the Centro de los Heroes on the sea-fronting Malecon boulevard in Santo Domingo.
