Truck traffic limits on the Malecón

The city government of the National District (ADN) reaffirmed that City Order No. 2/2017 restricts truck traffic on the sea-bordering Malecón of Santo Domingo. The capital city government says it will be enforcing the measure. The measure establishes that from Monday to Friday heavy trucks are only allowed to transit on the avenue from 12am to 2am and on Saturdays from 12 am to 12pm. On Sundays and holidays, heavy truck traffic is banned from using the city road. The city government urges that companies stick to the night schedules.
