Dominican Univision reporters Esperanza Ceballos and Yisel Tejeda won Emmy Awards during the New York Emmy Awards Gala held in New York City on 4 May 2019. Ceballos, a former CDN television reporter in the Dominican Republic and stringer for WXTV-41 since 2007, had relocated to New York City to work as a full-time reporter for the Univision station in July 2014.
