The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) has dismantled a center for the preparation and distribution of synthetic marijuana in Bani, in southcentral Peravia province. The raids were carried out in the Santa Elena residential complex and in a home between the sectors of Angostura and Honduras in Bani. Five men were arrested, all were Serbians with ages between 27 and 47 years. More than six pounds of marijuana was confiscated. Also confiscated during the raids were liquid drugs, weighing scales, four laptops, eleven cell phones, a car, a motorcycle.
According to the authorities, the drugs were prepared for sale in Greater Santo Domingo and the eastern part of the country, hence they are looking for other gang members.
