Limonada Coco promotes baseball in the USA

“Limonada Coco” by Dominican urban artists Musicologist The Libro and Lápiz Conciente is the main theme of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) advertising campaign ‘We Play Loud’ to promote the start of the post-season. The initiative aims to highlight the new stars of the sport and features Dominican Juan Soto, Aaron Judge, the ace of the Cardinals’ rotation, Jack Flaherty, the most valuable player candidate Cody Bellinger, and Alex Bregman as the voices of the campaign.

We Play Loud’ follows the same line as its predecessor ‘Let The Kids Play’, in which they advocate more liberal treatment of the inherently strict “unwritten rules” of baseball, emphasizing the personalities of the players.

“More than ever in the history of the sport, we have an enormous number of exciting young players,” the MLB statement reads. “This special group is changing the game one player at a time. Last year with the ‘Let the Kids Play’ campaign, we made a statement to support this new generation’s effort to change the culture of the game. The new era has been announced, but it’s time for it to be loud and clear: if you don’t pay attention, you’ll miss it.

Musicologo The Libro is a singer and composer of Latin urban music. Dominican rapper Lapiz Conciente describes himself as “the pop of Dominican rap.”
