The National Social Security Council (CNSS) approved the expansion of services covered by the Health Service Plan (PSS). 36 procedures, 11 pharmaceuticals and two high-cost procedures for dialysis patients were added. The CNSS authorized an increase in per capita payment of those insured and included the provision of wheelchairs for those enrolled in the Basic Health Plan (PBS) and the Family Health Plan (SFS) for those contributing into the system.
