The Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Cinema Agency (DGCine) signed an agreement whereby all Dominican embassies, consulates and foreign missions will work together to back the local film industry. Foreign Minister Miguel Vargas emphasized the importance of Dominican cinema as a vehicle for promoting the country on global markets.
