Over 100 fugitives from justice

The public prosecution service has operations ongoing to arrest at least 16 people who are fugitives from justice for having committed crimes over the past few months. In addition, according to the National Police, there are 106 people on the run for different crimes.

Included in this number are César Emilio Peralta (César el abusador), thought to be the head of the most important drug dealing gang in the country as well as Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase (el Cirujano), who along with Fernanda Villazmil (Venezuelan), are both implication in the shooting of former Major League Baseball player, David Ortiz.

Other fugitives from justice are Melvin Quezadan and Luis Rodríguez for femicide, Jesús Elías Pérez and Hans Wender Lluberes Sánchez, implicated in 450 kilos of drugs, and Miguel, Alexander and Carlos Iglesias, sought for the producing adulterated alcoholic drinks.
