Several members of the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) have been arrested along with at least four civilians, including two women. The arrests were carried out at dawn yesterday, Monday, 2 December in Nagua, in the northeastern province of María Trinidad Sánchez.
The arrests were carried out presumably in connection with drug dealing, and those arrested were taken to the Public Prosecution office in Nagua. So far, four DNCD officers are under arrest and more are being sought in the area.
