The Administrative Minister of the Presidency Jose Ramon Peralta has announced the results of an opinion poll carried out by CID Latin America. The municipal elections are scheduled for 16 February 2019.
Peralta said that according to the poll, the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) would lead the municipal elections with 49%, followed by the Revolutionary Modern Party (PRM) with 29%, Workers’ Party (Force of the People) 4%, Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD) 4%, Social Christian Reform Party (PRSC) 3%, and no party 11%.
The survey was carried out between 29 November and 3 December among 1,309 people.
