The Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) presented the set of mechanisms and rules that political parties must comply with to apply the gender and youth quotas. The TSE rules relate to the reserved candidates and gender and youth ratios referred to in the electoral laws. The TSE ruling seeks to guarantee the greater participation of women and young people in elective positions.
