The Clintons were in the Dominican Republic last week. Former First Lady and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited the Oscar de la Renta exhibition at the Centro León in Santiago. She was accompanied by Annette de la Renta and Paola Rainieri.
Hillary Clinton was welcomed by Isabel León and Clarissa Brugal León, members of the Board of Directors of the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation representing the León family. and María Amalia León de Jorge, president of the Foundation and director of the León Center.
The Oscar de la Renta exhibition is open until April. Iconic dresses are on exhibit and a documentary highlights the designers strong ties to his birth land.
Former US President Bill Clinton was also in the Dominican Republic. He took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the country and invite fellow Americans to enjoy all the country has to offer.
