Ministry of Public Works were prompt to restore traffic on the Jarabacoa-Constanza mountain road after large rocks sliding down the side of the road at the Paso Bajito section on Sunday, 26 January 2020. Brigades of the Ministry of Public Works and Civil Defense were stationed in the area to prevent damages. The Military and Police Commission of the Ministry of Public Works issued a warning on its Twitter account. Landslides have also been reported on the Casabito road in Constanza.
