The brand new País Posible political party has yet to announce its presidential candidate. In the assembly of delegates held on Sunday, 26 January, at the La Mancha Hall of the Barceló Santo Domingo, the party selected its 207 congressional candidates for the 17 May 2020 general election. There has been speculation National District Mayor David Collado could be chosen the party’s presidential candidate.
After the congressional candidates were unanimously approved by the delegates to the Pais Posible convention, the president of the party, Milton Morrison, proceeded to swear them in. The party was assigned the last box on the ballot, or No. 27.
