The Santo Domingo Hotels Association recognized National District Mayor David Collado for his contributions to the city. Collado has announced he will not seek reelection as mayor.
Roberto Henríquez, president of the Association, expressed appreciation for the rescue of the Malecón and the Fray Anton de Montesino Monument, on the eastern side of the sea-fronting boulevard.
The association also recognized Collado for his support to the promotion of the city in addition to the rescue of the iconic public spaces.
