The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) reported having seized 520 kilos of heroin on Monday, 3 February 2020. The operation took place in San Pedro de Macorís. Three persons were injured, one when trying to escape with the drugs; the other two, in the open sea, as reported on N Digital.
