Citizen Participation, the civic watchdog group, announced Sonia Díaz Inoa will be the general coordinator for 2020-2021. She is a lawyer with masters degrees in public administration and human rights. She also has a doctorate in democratic societies, state and law. She has worked in the judicial, legislative and executive branches of government at the Ministry of Labor. She is also a professor of law at the state Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and the director of the law school at APEC University.
This is the second time she has held the position of general coordinator of Citizen Participation, the first time being in 2014.
