Several voting stations are located at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) campuses nationwide. The UASD announces that as of noon on Friday, 14 February, classes are suspended classes to prepare for the elections. The election is scheduled for Sunday, 16 February 2020. Classes will resume Monday, 17 February at 6 am. The UASD says the initiative seeks also to facilitate the vote by students who vote in their home towns that are far from where they study.
