Contemporary music legendary singer Juan Luis Guerra uploaded a call for democracy on his Instagram page after the crash of the municipal election on Sunday, 16 February. As reported in Diario Libre, Guerra said what has happened is shameful. “Is it because we don’t speak French,” asked Guerra, in a play on the lyrics of one of his iconic songs.
