In its 10th year, the Aquatics Masters open water tournament is set to be held Saturday, 8 March 2020 in Boca Chica. The event is open to swimmers aged from seven years old up. The Restaurante Bocana is the meeting point.
A prep talk by experienced open water swimmer Juan Ramon Mejía is set for 4 March 2020 at the Dominican Olympic Committee headquarters in Santo Domingo at 6pm.
The Sunday competition has several swim categories. These are 300 meters, 1 Km, 3 Km, 5 Km, Special Olympics. The swims begin at 8:10 am. Registration for the event closed on 23 February.
