The National Council of Free Zones (CNZFE) announced three new free zone parks. These are the Heinsen Free Zone Industrial & Logistics Park, and the Zona Franca Cucama de Caucedo in Greater Santo Domingo, and the Zone Franca Industrial Boca de Mao in Valverde province in the northwest. The parks call for US$12 million investment and are expected to generate 4,130 direct jobs.
