The National Hotel & Restaurant Association (Asonahores) will hold its Xth Convention and Annual Exhibition from 25-28 September at the Hotel Dominican Fiesta. The President of the Republic, Leonel Fernandez Reyna, is expected to attend the opening ceremony. Garrido Lluberes said, when making the announcement about the convention, that it is especially important as the new government authorities will be in power and there is much optimism in the industry about forthcoming changes that will have a significant impact on tourism policies. The opening of the Convention is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 September at 7 pm. The conferences, seminars, workshops, contests, demonstrations, and trade show will continue until Saturday, 28 September.
