Dominican Selinee Méndez, not related to the new Miss Italy, was chosen as the “Super Model of the World” during a contest held in Kombles, Germany, in which 20 women participated.
Following her win, she was invited to attend in Mister World that was held on 17 September in Turkey, and is considered to be the equivalent for men of Miss Universe. She also traveled to Italy. Miss Méndez studied modeling at the John Casasblancas school in Santo Domingo.
