The city government of the National District announced the reopening of the Mercado Nuevo fresh produce market on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6am to 1pm. Buyers and sellers need to use face masks and gloves to enter the market. New access roads are being used. Vehicles are only allowed to access by way of Calle Respaldo Maria Montes. There is pedestrian access by the Av. Duarte, Av. de los Martires and Av. de Reyes Católicos. The entrance of the public is limited.
