The Centro Económico Cibao (CEC) reports on results of a poll held 18-19 April 2020 nationwide. The poll shows Luis Abinader, the presidential candidate of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has a wide margin over Gonzalo Castillo of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and Leonel Fernández of the People’s Force (FP). Abinader leads with 53.4%, to 23.7% for Castillo, 7.3% for Fernández and 1% for Guillermo Moreno in voter preference in the National District. 14% of those polled said they were not sure of who they would vote for. The margin of error is 2.8%.
A Greenberg-Diario Libre nationwide poll in February had shown Abinader would win with 52% compared to 24% Castillo and 17% Fernandez.
