Spotlight on US Army Major Marisol Chalas

Listin Diario is telling Dominicans about the professional successes of US Army Major Marisol Chalas. Dominican-born, she migrated with her parents to the US when she was nine years old. Listin Diario highlights that she became the first Latina National Guard Black Hawk helicopter pilot in September 2019. Today she is Legislative Assistant to the 37th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, and lives in Alexandria, Virginia.

Her Linkedin page also highlights that she has continuously developed high performance teams and has had operation management experience in North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. She has spearheaded a US$440,000,000 wind energy commodity business involving domestic and international suppliers with GE Energy. And she has enacted measures that improved productivity and generated multimillion-dollar cost savings.
