The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) reported that with the beginning of the gradual reopening of the economy, telecommunication companies are authorized to suspend service for non-payment. Indotel had issued resolution PRE-004-2020 that gave telecom customers extra time to pay their bills. During that time, they were exempted from late charges.
