Presidency reduces hours of curfew, publishes decree extending National State of Emergency

President Danilo Medina published Decree 213-20, extending the National State of Emergency for 17 more days, bringing this to 30 June 2020. In Decree 214-20, issues also on 12 June, the curfew is extended for 14 days, from Sunday, 14 June and through Saturday, 27 June 2020. As of Sunday, the curfew will be from 8pm to 5am every day of the week. The curfew adds an hour for free transit Monday to Saturday and three more hours to Sundays.
