The Metro Office (OPRET) announced that as of Sunday, 14 June, the timetable for the Santo Domingo Metro is from 6am to 7pm Monday to Sunday. The Santo Domingo Cable Car will operate from Monday to Saturday from 6am to 7pm and on Sundays from 8am to 7pm.
“It should be noted that the Metro-Teleférico integrated transport system continues to operate with the international hygiene standards,” states the OPRET in a press release. OPRET urges all to continue adhering to the protocol that makes mandatory the use of face masks, proper hand hygiene with an antibacterial gel that has been placed in dispensers at the Metro and cable car stations.
During the epidemic, the Metro has been adding four new cars making possible physical distance protocols.
