What documents will be acceptable to get through curfew checkpoints when heading to take an evening flight or driving from the airport during curfew hours? Curfew hours are now 7pm to 5am on Monday to Friday, and 5pm to 5am on Saturdays and Sundays.
The documents are a passport and a flight ticket.
Listin Diario reporters found out that even if you will not be traveling yourself, you can be driving someone to the airport, as long as the person who is with you has with them their passport and airline ticket as proof they will be taking a flight.
“They only have to present to the police and military authorities a copy of the itinerary of the flight of the client that they will transport, with which they will justify their presence in the streets at that hour of the night, in time of curfew,” reports the newspaper, citing a source at the Las Americas International Airport.
